2年 Dodgeball Tournament

So, we had our final exams last week, but still have school for two more weeks.  We don't have any classes, but the students have different activities that they do every day.
Yesterday, was the dodge ball tournament.  The classes were divided into two groups and all pitted against each other to determine the winner.  Dodge ball in Japan is a little different that what we used to play when I was little.  For one, they only use 1 ball.  So it's relatively easy to dodge the ball.  And two, if the 'out' people catch the ball and hit someone, they can go back in.
So, a little different, but fun to watch.  I also found out that one of the boys was in a national dodge ball tournament when he was in elementary school.  I didn't even know that there was such a thing. lol
Here are some pictures of the kids playing dodge ball.

Here are the team leaders explaining the rules of the game.
And Yano has the ball...!
A full-court shot.  This is totally different from how I used to play dodge ball.
A group of happy girls, now that the games are over.

Until next time...
